New Canon Printers Receives Exceptional Rating From BERTL

BERTL, the independent analysts and testing lab have delivered a five-star 'exceptional' rating to the new Canon iPF6300, iPF6350 and iPF8300.

BERTL's testing criteria addresses 11 categories, namely,  Build Quality, Network Administration, Security, Workflow, Finish, Ease of Use, Media Handling, Printing, Image Quality, Features, and Price.

The new Canon range of large format printers, launched in the UK in April 2010, utilise the new LUCIA EX ink set and employ two advanced one-inch print heads, each featuring 2,560 nozzles per colour and outputting a super-fine four picoliter (pl) droplet at a full 2400x1200 dots-per-inch resolution (dpi) to reproduce details with extraordinary accuracy and clarity.

The new 12-Colour LUCIA EX pigment ink set also increase the achievable colour gamut by approximately 20 percent from the previous imagePROGRAF ink set.
